Q: Can a HF team send 2 teams for one particular sports ?
A: Each HF can only participate one team per sports.The rational is to streamline a equal and fair chance for all teams to participate in all games.
Q: Is there any rules or criteria in inviting the non-Christians?
A: There is no rules on inviting non-Christians. But there is a guideline on inviting outside guests not from your home fellowship or life ministry, that you should have 30% guests in your overall team. For eg, if you send in 20 players, about 6 should be your guests.
Q: Is there any minimum guest participation despite the maximum of 30%?
A: We do not have any minimum requirement for guest participation, however we strongly encourage to invite non-Christian friends.
Q: Also does it mean that they could be believers not attached to any HF or Life groups?
A: Yes.Your HF/LM can invite believers not attached to any HF/LM because it is also our objective to encourage FGA members to join HF.We hope to see all the FGA member to be part of HF or LM.
Q: I notice Futsal has been dropped this time around, any reason for this?
A: I know futsal is a hot item, but sadly we have to drop it because of limited space and time. This year we are breaking the tournament into 2 namely HF championship and Life Ministry championship thus the limited indoor stadium could not cater for our size anymore.Last year, we experienced a tough time balancing 4 indoor games.Of the 4 we decided to drop futsall & basketball because of the body contact nature of the game.We are not trying to hide the truth of aggresiveness in competition as a Christian but we hope to be more prepared for future event.
Q: Who can participate in the telematches?.
A: Everyone are welcome to join the fun in the telematches.
Q: How do we participate in the telematches?
A: We will have groupings base on Regions. If you do not belong to a HF or LM, then join the Region your friends belongs to.
Q: Does the telematches contributes points to the overall Championship?
A: Nope. Telematches is a seperate event and prizes will be given out to winners.
Q: Can we send in 1 or 2 sports only for the championship?
A: Yes you can. But we really hope all of us will try our best to recruit more participants as our objective to invite more non-Christian friends to the event.
Q: Can I play for LM and also represents HF?
A: Yes you can, provide both game doesnt clash.
Q: Can we use cash to transact any buying/selling on the 1st May 2008?
A: Nope. We have to buy coupons for all transactions.
Q: Where do we buy the coupons?
A: It is available for sale before the event in FGA church or contact us at sportsfellowship@fga.com.my
